Our mission is to provide opportunities to create, form, teach, and experience classical theatre with and for the Indianapolis Community.
The Garfield Shakespeare Company (GSC) is a volunteer community theater company located at Garfield Park in Indianapolis, IN. We perform two main stage productions a year: an indoor Spring production at the Garfield Park Arts Center, and an outdoor production in the MacAllister Amphitheater, which offers regular seating, bench seating and lawn seating. Both are beautiful space which offer a wonderful backdrop for our shows.
GSC strives to serve the community by providing opportunities for anyone interested in stepping into the world of classical theater, regardless of their level of experience, and by providing quality theater to the community free of charge.
